16MM FILM "THIEF OF BAGDAD" 1940 CLASSIC FANTASY ONE OF THE GREATEST
FANTASY FILMS EVER MADE - Academy Award for art direction, color
cinematography and special effects. Epic-scale & impressive sets. Sabu
gives an unforgettable performance, also starring Conrad Veidt and Rex
Ingram. Directed by Tim Whelan & Michael Powell (who also did Stairway
to Heaven). Music score by Miklos Rozsa. Produced by Alexander Korda, it
truly was an "instant classic. On (3) 1600 ft reels. Print is complete uncut Fuji
color stock, pleasing on the screen with blues present, but it still is
on the red or color loss side. [see screen shot.] The fellow I purchased
it from had this print for 15 years. In that time the color had not
changed. He always stored it in a cool environment. Since it is a used
print, it has some minor wear - mostly at the beginning and end of the
reels, but nothing bad, nice print with a splice or a light line here
and there, great sound, sharp focus. No Vinegar Smell. Add this hard to
find title to your collection. It will be shipped in a free professional
heavy duty hinged aluminum 35mm film can with handle, which you can also

Corman 1963 16mm Feature Film The Raven with Boris
Karloff, Vincent Price, Peter Lorre, and Jack
Nicholson. A fun fantasy spoof of dueling magicians loosely based on
the famous Edgar Allen Poe poem of the same name. This is a faded color
print with the vinegar syndrome. There is some warpage but the film runs
through the projector ok. The film was treated with vitafilm to help
arrest vinegar syndrome. |
