Kid Rio (Brando) and Dad Longworth (Karl Malden) are bandits who rob a
Mexican bank in 1880, but end up having to share a horse during the
getaway. Realizing that they can't get very far, the two split up.
Longworth takes off with the gold and leaves Rio to be caught by the
Mexican law. Five years later, Rio is released from prison, and goes on a
quest to get revenge on his former partner. He finds that Longworth is
now a town sheriff with a wife and stepdaughter. Rio bides his time,
waiting to find the perfect moment to strike. In the meantime he falls
in love with Longworth's stepdaughter, which complicates his plans for
revenge. A compelling and unforgettable western, featuring outstanding
performances by the whole case, especially Brando. Dolby Digital
